Lynx Vawt with new airfoil rotor vanes

In this video you can see the increase in speed from the re-designed rotor vanes. The vanes are angled in a way you wouldn't think would work. The airfoil gains lift as the rotor spins. The airfoils are cutting a path around the turbine and lift is at a slight tangent to the axis.
