Survival Garden (This may save you life!) Must See!
John Lipscomb shows how he protects his food in a situation of necessary caution. In case of emergency you will not suddenly retain this vital informative video on how to Obtain WATER and FOOD.
WWW.SURVIVALISTSEEDS.com How To Store Seeds This is simple, Take an empty and clean metal coffee can, throw away the plastic lid, place seed packs inside and cover top with aluminum window screen and duct tape it around the sides of the can. This will allow air to circulate, humidity will escape from seeds and bugs and mice can't enter. Keep the can in a dark and dry area, I prefer the floor of a bedroom closet. Seeds have been found in Egypt and elsewhere that have been good after more than 1,000 years!

High Voltage Without DC Power Supply
PLEASE READ WHAT THIS VIDEO IS ABOUT:
If you feel you need to tell me any motor can be a generator, then please read and try to understand what this is about. Or better yet see the second video I posted to help explain better. If you have questions or comments, I'd be happy to address them on the second video after you have watched it.
This is a continuation of a project started on a popular energy forum. The content of the video was primarily composed to show an alternative method of energizing the SSG circuit attached to the motor. This was originally intended for discussion on the forum. However, If you arent familiar with the circuit I'll try to explain how it works.
There are two separate windings on the stator. One winding does work like a permanent magnet generator. This section produces about 2 volts. The pulse from this coil fires a power transistor. The power transistor when turned on takes THE INPUT VOLTAGE / CURRENT FROM WHATEVER POWER SOURCE IS HOOKED UP TO THE CIRCUIT BOARD and energizes the second set of windings. The second set of windings and their associated stator legs push the rotor into rotation. When the pulse ends and the power transistor shuts off the collapse of the coils creates a back spike (EMF). This spike of high voltage or an event that is associated with it can be used to charge and condition batteries. Now the catch is THERE IS NO BATTERY OR BENCH POWER SUPPLY CONNECTED TO THE CIRCUIT INPUT WHICH IS USED TO POWER THE SECOND COILS when the rotor is being moved by hand. Even if you are not a forum member, not in support of the inventors theories or perhaps not familiar at all with this type project, consider a few other points: 1. Here is a salvaged printer mains drive motor that can be used as a motor for other applications if modified correctly. 2. This is a motor without brushes running from a single transistor circuit. That in itself is very interesting to me. 3. The motor can be used as a generator in a conventional manner even without modification. 4. The popular SSG circuit has been used by thousands of people to charge and restore lead acid batteries. Believer or Basher, associated experiments have great hobby value and give a person a chance to learn something about electrical components for no more than the cost of a good flashlight. All comments are normally welcome whether you are a forum member or not. In the past I've answered any questions you might have. All I ever ask is you keep it polite. Because of the trend of negativity. Recently I've decided it wasn't worth arguing with people anymore over this video so every once and a while I disable comments and take a break. Notice there are no claims of Free Energy or Over Unity on any of my posted videos. I really appreciate your subscriptions and visits to my channel. Please take a look at some of my other videos.
John H.
I. Please note this is not an Over Unity Video. There are no claims of more output than input. The video illustrates the different methods for using a stator motor for Motor/Generator/SSG experiments. There may not be real world applications shown hear. The usefulness of these experiments is based on an individuals knowledge of adapting the parts to their current energy experiments.
Some have asked for the part numbers on the motors I use:

How To Build Your Own Pedal-Powered Bike Generator
DIY: How To Build Your Own Pedal-Powered Bike Generator (via The Green Optimistic)
If you were a puzzle fan in your childhood or if you simply love building things, you now have the chance to make a most surprising combination: a power-generating exercise bike out of a washing machine. So you get a double effect from a work-out: great legs and power for your house! A regular routine…

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AC_motor
An AC motor is an electric motor driven by an alternating current.
It commonly consists of two basic parts, an outside stationary stator having coils supplied with alternating current to produce a rotating magnetic field, and an inside rotor attached to the output shaft that is given a torque by the rotating field.
There are two main types of AC motors, depending on the type of rotor used. The first type is the induction motor, which runs slightly slower than the supply frequency. The magnetic field on the rotor of this motor is created by an induced current. The second type is the synchronous motor, which does not rely on induction and as a result, can rotate exactly at the supply frequency or a sub-multiple of the supply frequency. The magnetic field on the rotor is either generated by current delivered through slip rings or by a permanent magnet. Other types of motors include eddy current motors, and also AC/DC mechanically commutated machines in which speed is dependent on voltage and winding connection.
Squirrel-cage rotors
Most common AC motors use the squirrel cage rotor, which will be found in virtually all domestic and light industrial alternating current motors... It is typically cast aluminum or copper poured between the iron laminates of the rotor, and usually only the end rings will be visible. The vast majority of the rotor currents will flow through the bars rather than the higher-resistance and usually varnished laminates. Very low voltages at very high currents are typical in the bars and end rings; high efficiency motors will often use cast copper to reduce the resistance in the rotor.
In operation, the squirrel cage motor may be viewed as a transformer with a rotating secondary. When the rotor is not rotating in sync with the magnetic field, large rotor currents are induced; the large rotor currents magnetize the rotor and interact with the stator's magnetic fields to bring the rotor almost into synchronization with the stator's field. An unloaded squirrel cage motor at rated no-load speed will consume electrical power only to maintain rotor speed against friction and resistance losses. As the mechanical load increases, so will the electrical load...
This is why a squirrel cage blower motor may cause household lights to dim upon starting, but does not dim the lights on startup when its fan belt (and therefore mechanical load) is removed...
To prevent the currents induced in the squirrel cage from superimposing itself back onto the supply, the squirrel cage is generally constructed with a prime number of bars, or at least a small multiple of a prime number (rarely more than 2)...
Virtually every washing machine, dishwasher, standalone fan, record player, etc. uses some variant of a squirrel cage motor.
Calecon Effect
If the rotor of a squirrel cage motor runs at the true synchronous speed, the flux in the rotor at any given place on the rotor would not change, and no current would be created in the squirrel cage. For this reason, ordinary squirrel-cage motors run at some tens of rpm slower than synchronous speed...
Two-phase AC servo motors
A typical two-phase AC servo-motor has a squirrel cage rotor and a field consisting of two windings:
- a constant-voltage (AC) main winding.
- a control-voltage (AC) winding in quadrature (i.e., 90 degrees phase shifted) with the main winding so as to produce a rotating magnetic field. Reversing phase makes the motor reverse.
An AC servo amplifier, a linear power amplifier, feeds the control winding. The electrical resistance of the rotor is made high intentionally so that the speed/torque curve is fairly linear. Two-phase servo motors are inherently high-speed, low-torque devices, heavily geared down to drive the load.
Single-phase AC induction motors
Three-phase motors produce a rotating magnetic field. However, when only single-phase power is available, the rotating magnetic field must be produced using other means. Several methods are commonly used:..

How To Prepare For Economic Collapse / Global Disaster
Experts are warning that the economy is going to get worse over the next couple years. If things get bad, and money starts to become scarce, or worse yet it becomes totally worthless, do you know what you will do?
What if we suffered a total economic collapse? Are you prepared?
If you haven't already, it's time to put together a plan of action.
So what should you do?
Start Prepping, put together an emergency kit that includes extra food, clothing and a portable shelter (tents, tarps, sleeping bags.)
Knowledge -- Knowledge is key, and now is the time to get some. During any kind of disaster including an economic collapse, knowledge will be your most powerful ally.
Start reading books on survival and start collecting information on how to live off the land.
Stock up on Supplies not money -- Now is the time to buy the things you need! I'm not talking about T.V's or Ipods, but instead buy things that you will need to live and survive in the future. Things like clothing, food, and survival gear will never lose their value, but money will. It's better to buy the supplies you need now when they are cheap, than later when inflation drives prices through the roof. The price of everything is going up, stock up while you can.
Everyday living supplies will be worth their weight in gold.
Put together a Bug Out Bag
Survival Laptops -- Knowledge is power, but it can be hard to remember everything. Start Collecting as much information as you can on survival, prepping, food storage, and living off the land. Put together a Survival Laptop that stores all the valuable information you find. A small laptop can fit hundreds of thousands of books worth of information in a small portable device that can easily be carried with you anywhere you go. I also advice picking up a small Solar Laptop Charger that can keep your laptop going indefinitely.

Remote Internet Access - A Few Words From ne033x
Hello Friends,
I think that many of you may think that when you make the decision to go off-grid that you'll be sacrificing some of the services that people on the grid take for granted, and I've created this vlog to show you that is NOT the case! When I go completely off-grid within a few weeks, I can tell you that I will be enjoying every single on-grid service that I do now - only miles away from society, deep in the mountains - COMPLETELY OFF-GRID!!!
As some of you know, my business - bread and butter - requires that I work on-line, so this has been a very big concern for me! Knowing I was going completely off the grid, I began researching satellite internet services, only to realize I'd have to hack a friggin satellite to make it cost effective! ;-P Thus began my foray into the wide world of wifi interent! And, trust me - I've experimented with just about every device around, finally inventing my own very cheap system. Please let me explain!!!
First of all, in a remote location, you will need what is called a high gain directional wifi antenna!
Wifi signals are at 2.4 ghz, and guess what? You know those old television grid antennas on a lot of roofs? The ones collecting dust cuz most people have gone satellite or even digital? Well, they are tuned to 2.4ghz!
So, instead of purchasing a $100+ high gain antenna, start asking friends and neighbors if you can have them! Of everyone I know who's done this - NO ONE HAS BEEN DENIED! Mainly cuz no one is using them anymore! In a crunch, just drive around and ask the first home owner you see with one on their roof!
Then, what I did was purchase a $30 Walmart NETGEAR USB wifi antenna, replaced the television receiver head with the wifi antenna - Oh yeah, also, a USB extension cord! And, I have been enjoying free wifi internet access from a hotel about a quarter mile from my house for about a year now! What's more is I am shooting from my closet, through three large houses - ALL OF WHICH EVERYONE SAYS CANNOT BE DONE!!!
Basically, there are so many methods to receiving long-range signals, including setting up repeaters, etc, and if you need help, just ask!! I will be producing videos of my set-up once it's established, but I have researched all aspects of long-range wifi, and if I don't have the answers, I'll help you find them!!
So, feel free to give me a holler if you need any help, or even if you want to share your own tips and ideas!!
Your Friend,
Danny aka ne033x

Alaskan Chainsaw Mill Off-grid Homestead Project
What size lumber mill attachment do I need?
How big are your trees? How wide of a board do you want to cut? These are questions we can help you answer. Granberg's Alaskan Mark III Chainsaw Mill comes in five normally stocked sizes; 24, 30, 36, 48 and 56 inches long and all of them will clamp on any size chain saw bar(except one shorter than 5 inches and some narrow bars).
We recommend large displacement saws for more effective ripping. However smaller saws will work but are less efficient and some of the bars on the smaller saws are too narrow to mount the chainsaw mill's clamping brackets, without pinching your chainsaw bar's rails.
How much power must my chain saw have?
The general rule is, the more power your saw engine has, the faster the cutting speed. Almost any engine that runs, will cut, it just depends on how much time you want to spend milling your lumber. - How do I make first my first cut?
With the Alaskan Mark III Chainsaw Mill Attachment, you need to have a flat surface for the mill to ride on to get a flat even cut. You can nail a 2x10 to the top of the log or you can buy our Slabbing Rail Bracket Set
How long are your Slabbing Rail Brackets?
Our Slabbing Rail Brackets are about 15 inches long and there are two of them in the set. They attach to two 2x4's that you purchase locally. Attached with the hardware provided, the two rails provide a flat surface to guide your first cut with the Alaskan Mark III Chainsaw Mill. Can I use my regular chain for ripping?
Your regular stock chain on your saw works okay when it is sharpened correctly. All top angles must be the same uniform angle(25, 30, 35 degrees) and your depth gauges must be at the same height, no more than thirty five thousandths below the cutting edge of the tooth. For better ripping results, re-sharpen your stock chain to zero (0) degree top plate angle from the 25, 30 or 35 degree angle mentioned before. The zero degree top plate angle reduces the power needed to rip and produces smoother lumber than your regular stock chain. However neither of the above works as well as Granberg Ripping Chain. - Do I need an Auxiliary Oiler Kit? -
Chain saws deliver oil to the drive links via an oil hole in the top of the bar at the power head end of the bar. Oil has to travel to the bottom of the bar where most of the cutting is done. For smaller bars and small cuts, this system works fine. For larger bars, 24" plus, we recommend our Auxiliary Oiler Kit since it delivers the oil to the cutting surface of the bar. To mount the kit, two holes are required to be drilled through the end of the bar. This allows you to mount the kit on either side so that you can turn the bar on a regular basis for even bar wear.
- How thick can the Mark III cut?
The Alaskan Mark III Chainsaw Mill Attachment can cut boards as thin as 1/2 inch and as thick as 13 inches. Set up and make your first cut, remove this first slab, then use the Mini-Mill II to edge the log. This will give you a three sided cant from which dimensional lumber can be cut. Alternatively, the Alaskan Chainsaw Mill can be used for all of the cuts in various ways; Lower the mill and make a second parallel cut, then roll the log 90 degrees and make a third cut, thus giving you a three sided cant. If your mill is not wide enough to make the second cut as described, the log can be progressively rolled and the sides removed to reduce the diameter, so that the mill can fit across the log.
- How fast can I rip lumber?
This depends on the type of wood, the length, the width of cut and the horsepower of the saw. Another critical factor is the type and sharpness of the chain. We recommend Granberg Ripping Chain. It is also very important that your wood is clean and has not picked up dirt or rocks during handling. Remove the bark if necessary. Cutting speeds can vary from 8 feet a minute in narrow softwoods, to 1-1/2 feet a minute in wide hardwoods. We recently cut eight foot lengths of hard, dry black walnut 34 inches wide, with a 93cc Jonsered at a rate of about 1-1/2 to 2 feet a minute.
